On January 22, The Colin McEnroe Show on Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network was dedicated to meditation and its positive effects. The hour-long programme was titled “Quieting the mind with meditation: Meditation as a path toward better physical and mental health.”

“The case for meditation is the state of the modern mind. Attention deficit disorder. Post traumatic stress. Anxiety. Addiction. Hopelessness. Depression. Suicide. I could keep going. We’re loading up on meds, many of which will not work for us.” – Colin McEnroe

The show’s guests were Dr. Judson Brewer (Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Yale University), Jenny Phillips (cultural anthropologist, writer), and Bob Roth (Executive Director, David Lynch Foundation). Mr Roth spoke about the “Quiet Time” initiative, his contribution starting at 44 minutes into the show.
