Jennifer Aniston’s secret recipe for radiant beauty

What keeps Jennifer Aniston looking so radiantly young and beautiful?

The widely adored actress confesses that her secret lies in a very practical approach to life: make time for what is helpful and relaxing, be it a daily session of meditation or hanging out with your pets.

GOOD FOOD AND DIVING WITHIN: The major components of Aniston’s diet and pound-shedding regimen are yoga, foods high in protein, low-carb foods, and meditation.

Meditate regularly!

When asked about the number one thing which has kept her looking so amazing, Jennifer Aniston said:

“I’d say a little over a year ago I started doing TM [Transcendental Meditation] and that’s really changed everything.

Starting your day off with that and ending with that is pretty powerful.

Twenty minutes, you just notice the difference! When I get lazy and don’t get it in, I can feel a difference in the day.

So I try to meditate first thing when I wake up.”

“Feeling good comes from within. Loving who you are and being kind to yourself are the keys to confidence. And meditation is helpful.

One of the plus points about turning 40 is that you begin to realize that you worry too much about things that don’t matter. People love you because of who you are, not what you wear or what you look like. I am who I am and I’m proud of all of it,” the actress told The Telegraph.

Asked by Popsugar what were the biggest changes meditation has brought into her life, Aniston replied:

“It’s not one thing you can put a finger on. It’s like a kick start for your day, it just centers you and your stress levels are just down, you find yourself interacting in the world easier and better, in a calmer way.

There’s a peaceful joy that comes over you. I don’t know how or why, it’s no rhyme or reason.”

Find the correct balance

Balance. It’s an idea that is downright daunting when it comes to keeping up a half-decent fitness and beauty regimen in a crazy-busy life. But the Friends star, 46, has nailed it.

“You have to think about the long run and bigger picture,” Aniston told Yahoo Health about her approach to wellness.

“We have a choice. We can be really good all the time and be around for a really long time. But it also feels good when you give yourself some breaks and self-tending.”

For example, every morning Aniston finds the time to take her beloved dogs out on a walk. And the benefits are mutual: “It’s just never the same morning. Something will surprise you as if you’re seeing it for the first time every day.”

A few other facts you didn’t know about that beautiful woman

“If you want to make me smile, show me puppy videos. Cute puppy videos,” Aniston confirms her love for our four-legged friends.

She also admits that if yoga didn’t exist, she would probably have to invent it.

But what if she could trade bodies with someone for 24 hours?

“I’d love to be able to ski like a crazy person, like Lindsey Vonn. Then I’d also like to have Gisele’s body, just ‘cuz, why not?”Aniston refers to the supermodel and fellow fan of yoga and meditation, Gisele Bündchen, with a mischievous smile.

ACCEPTING YOURSELF AS YOU ARE: Jennifer Aniston says that it’s easier to embrace flaws than to fight them. “I have a scar on my nose and that’s beautiful,” she says. “The more we love what is natural and beautiful, the easier it is for us as women.”
