Singer Katy Perry, on tour in support of her album Prism, has offered her road crew something truly special.
With three meditation teachers asked to stay with the crew for a few days, the singer gave everyone the opportunity to learn the Transcendental Meditation technique — a practice which Perry has worked into her own daily routine.
Perry exclaimed on her Twitter account on October 5:
A tour with the good vibe
The Prismatic World Tour is the third concert tour by American singer Katy Perry. It began in Belfast in May 2014 and will end, after more than 130 concerts in Europe, North America and Oceania, in March 2015.
Garnering critical praise and topping the Billboard Hot Tours weekly recap, Perry’s Prism tour is benefitting more than the singer and her meditating crew.
A portion of the money generated from ticket sale will go to various non-profit organizations including UNICEF, Autism Speaks, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
