Alison Ryncarz lives in Kansas City, Missouri. She has followed in her parent’s footsteps by incorporating the Transcendental Meditation practice into her daily life.

In this video by Bradly Hinkle, Alison says:

“Twice a day is what I aim to do. I’m at college so it’s obviously much more difficult to have that happen every day but I try to meditate twice a day for 20 minutes, morning and night. When I finish meditation it’s an incredibly blissful experience.”

“My parents are huge inspiration for me with Transcendental Meditation. My Dad is one of the most calm human beings I’ve ever met. He just has such a peaceful aura around him. And he’s doing one hour and twenty minutes of meditation twice a day, so two hours and forty minutes every day. I think he has been doing this for close to 40 years…

Transcendental Meditation is such an incredible thing. I wish every college student could do that. People would get better grades, you’d get along better with others, everybody would be just so much more peaceful. I plan to have it as a part of my life for the rest of my life – and teaching my kids one day to practice it, too.“
